Last Fall, Brian and I developed a photographic tradition during our weekend adventure in upstate New York. As we relaxed on our patio overlooking Lake George, we took a snapshot of our four feet resting on the glass furniture, capturing the lake view in the distance. During each of our future getaways, whether it be in the Trump Plaza casino hotel in Atlantic City, NJ or on the grassy field of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., we took the same picture; our four feet resting on any available surface, capturing different views in the distance. We named the series of photographs “Feet Around the World.” As we travel through the nooks and crannies of the world, these pictures will serve as a reminder of the different soils or shores that our feet have stepped onto. Now, it wouldn’t be an adventure of ours without sharing the newest addition to this collection – the great Lake Erie in the distance.
